1 lb. ground beef
3 Garlic Cloves (minced)
1 TBSP Ginger (minced)
2 Green Onions (sliced)
2 Heads Butter/Bibb Lettuce
Serrano/Jalapeno Peppers (sliced or chopped)
BAKING AND SPICES
1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
2 TBSP Sesame Seeds
OIL AND VINEGAR
1 TBSP Rice wine vinegar
1 tsp Sesame oil
1 TBSP Soy Sauce/Coconut Aminos
4 TBSP Hoisin Sauce
1 TBSP Avocado Oil
Chili Sauce (to taste)
1-8oz can of water chestnuts (drained and chopped)
Sauté ground beef in 1 TBSP avocado oil and soy sauce. Cook for 4 minutes.
Add minced garlic, minced ginger, red pepper flakes, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, and hoisin sauce to the meat. Cook for 4 more minutes then remove from heat.
Toss the water chestnuts into the meat until evenly coated.
Scoop meat mixture into bibb lettuce leaves Sprinkle with sesame seeds and plate.
Garnish with ingredients of your choice, I personally love them all!
Step 6: (optional)
Drizzle with a mix of 2 TBSP hoisin, 1 tsp chili sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil and 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
